I've found that the username Linux is basically wasted on many platforms such as Identi.ca and also here on Tumblr. This is they are registered but nothing gets ever posted.

I think this is a shame and I decided to fight it. I emailed Tumblr to ask whether I could get linux.tumblr.com, but they can't give it to me.

I registered linux@joindiaspora.com very early on, so the history would not be repeated on there.
Now that we can connect Diaspora accounts to tumblr, I think the time has come to mirror the content over to it.

I don't expect everybody to agree with everything that I write or to like the kind of content I post.
I try to stay 'on-topic' as often as possible, but I won't always.
I think that we can all agree on the point that some content is better than none content and that empty accounts are definitely bad press for Linux.
