### Mozilla Popcorn 1.0 release ###
Mozilla released version 1.0 of their popcorn.js library.
Popcorn is a project that aims to build a set of tool to create interactive video-websites. This means that videos and interactive elements of the web get together and form one interactive multimedia experience for richer websites.

Version 1.0 of popcorn.js also brings an API freeze to make the life of programmers easier.
Popcorn is not only aimed at webdevelopers but also at moviemakers and webdesigners and therefore a nice graphical GUI is needed to give the creators an easy way to build the web-video-site. Therefore, Mozilla also released an early version of PopcornMaker, a GUI to stick the video and interactive elements together. PopcornMaker is still in an early Alpha phase however.
