Remote Wayland clients

One of the points often critzised about switching from X to Wayland is, that, other than X, wayaland is not network-transparent.

So it would be nice if Wayland would support a client/server model similar to the old X-terminals anyways, particularly because such solutions are becoming more important again in the era of cloud computing.

A Google Summer of Code project aimed to develop a solution for that. Now the student working on that has reported back.
He got some of it working, but the system as a whole is not working and still needs work to be done.
